Not saying I don't like some of his older music but I prefer from then on up. Starts off swinging by addressing the racism Eminem faced for being white. Then I realized that often he wasn't serious and that, like others, he just meant for a song to be a song and nothing else. Even some of the photos used are hilarious. But the beauty of this book is that it contains his earliest and most controversial ly Fun fact: I used to hate Eminem.

Having sold over seventy million albums worldwide, Eminem is one of the highest-selling rappers of all time. Slim's in his early forties, and we now have plenty examples of his human side: Mockingbird, Not Afraid, Headlights, Talkin' to Myself, etc. Along with his controversial lyrics and Eminem's own commentary on them, Angry Blonde will feature never—before—published photos. But Em's right, because he says the stuff the rest of us won't. Before some of the lyrics in this book he will give you a little bit about how he came up with the song which is actually helpful and I wish more music artists did this sort of thing so you can take a glimpse into the life of them and have a feel of where they are coming from with their songs.

That is, until I heard the last verse of Stan. Yeah he raps about hating women, killing and so forth but those are mostly his lyrics he has wrote. Which is highly relevant in the world today. You can tell what songs have more meaning and meat behind them as some songs have a few sentence explinations and others a whole page. But this one is the only autobiography I have ever read perhaps I like it because this is only about great critics and verse controversies which Eminem has come up through.

Angry Blonde is the only official Eminem book on the market, done with the complete authorisation and support of the rap superstar. Not saying I don't like some of his older music but I prefer from then on up. Angry Blonde is the only official Eminem book on the market, done with the complete authorisation and support of the rap superstar. At least, not all the time. I appreciated this book because it was good for my older eyes to read some of the words that I couldn't quite get on some of the songs.

It was becoming increasingly clear that this crazy white kid from the wrong side of the tracks possessed a supreme undeniable talent. It's the words to most, if not all, I haven't finished yet of his songs and with each one comes a paragrah or two if your lucky about when he wrote it, where he was at the time, and maybe, just maybe, a tiny bit about what was going on in his mind at the time. Who Eminem is as a person shines through very well. Being a Stan is an amazing feeling. For the fan this is basically a lyric book consisting of a couple dozen early songs and some freestyles thrown in, with commentary from Eminem about many of the songs beginnings and pictures.

Along with his controversial lyrics and Eminem's own commentary on them, Angry Blonde will feature never—before—published photos. It could have been lot better if they just added more pages with more information. He came from nothing and made his love of rhyming into something that a lot of people love. Honestly it's up to the parents and I recommend that they read it first to determine if they should let their kid s read it. When I became a Women's Studies major, it became hard to square that with my love for Eminem. I still feel like I need a shower after reading some of this stuff though! It could have bee Being a Stan is an amazing feeling. I loved the book overall.

It is what it is and for what it is it does a great job at it. Having sold over seventy million albums worldwide, Eminem is one of the highest-selling rappers of all time. Yeah he raps about hating women, killing and so forth but those are mostly his lyrics he has wrote. I am sure there is some truth to them but for the most par I bought this book to review before giving it to my nephew as he is a fan of Eminem and yes I am as well, but more so from his album Relapse on up. Otherwise all there is about 80% lyrics which one can find today simply if they have internet. I loved the book overall. Slim's in his early forties, and we now have plenty examples of his human side: Mockingbird, Not Afraid, Headlights, Talkin' to Myself, etc.

Which is half the point of this book. I am sure there is some truth to them but for the most part I honestly think that it's just what sounded good to him to make it flow! Otherwise all there is about 80% lyrics which one can find today simply if they have internet. He came from nothing and made his love of rhyming into something that a lot of people love. Basically a cd companion, a way to hear about how each song came to be. But, come on, Elton John forgave him and gets the joke, so you can too. It's the words to most, if not all, I haven't finished yet of his songs and with each one comes a paragrah or two if your lucky about when he wrote it, where he was at the time, and maybe, just maybe, a tiny bit about what was going on in his mind at the time.
